Now that you have identified your
Predominate
Motivational Talent, this is your foundation to developing a
more positive mental outlook by helping you to focus and work within
your area of comfort and strength.
The next step is in understanding that our mind
cannot think or feel two opposites at the same time. We cannot say (and
mean) yes and no at the same time, nor can we feel joy and grief at the
same time. When we feel two conflicting emotions at the same time, all
we can feel is confusion and indecision, constantly flip flopping
between the two.
When you feel secure with your strengths and
motivations, you will naturally shift your focus on your desire - your
success. The negative chatter in your mind will calm down, and you will
find it easier to focus in a positive way.
When this happens, your mind will be in a YES state.
People who are in a YES state find more yes's in life than those who are
focused in a NO state.
What are some of the things
that can get you stuck in a NO state?
 |
Associating with people who find problems and
never have solutions.
|
 |
Associating with people who can find a negative
in most anything, such as seeing a beautiful rainbow and complaining
that it has been raining.
|
 |
Constantly blaming and finding fault, never
taking responsibility.
|
 |
Immersing your thoughts in the negative aspects
of who you are, what you do, what is happening in your life, etc.
When having negative thoughts always write them down, evaluate
what is real and what isn't, then look for SOLUTIONS.

What do you do if you are
suck in this self defeating cycle?
